W. David Rummel, M.D.
Dr. David Rummel is a Certified Diplomat of the American
Board of Ophthalmology and the American Board of Quality
Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians. He is a Fellow
of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American
Academy of Ophthalmology, and a board member of the Civil
Aviation Medical Association. He is a Past President of
the Arizona Ophthalmological Society. Dr. Rummel serves
as a senior Medical Examiner for the Federal Aviation Administration.
He has taught at the Ophthalmology Department at the Universidad
Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico, and at the Noor Eye Institute
in Kabul, Afghanistan. Dr. Rummel earned his medical degree
at Hahnemann University College of Medicine in Philadelphia,
and served his residency in ophthalmology at Ohio State
University Hospital. He is a staff physician at Yavapai
Regional Medical Center and the Prescott Out-Patient Surgery
Center. He is a consulting physician at the Veterans’
Administration Medical Center in Prescott. Dr. Rummel and
his wife, Wanda, reside in Prescott.
